The Cayo Sabinel Peninsula faces the center of Cuba and the North of the province of Camaguë, to the archipelago of the Bahamas. Establishing the Bonita station in proximity to a navigable estuary made it possible to provide the station with a protected access and create an artificial bridge. |

Project The station's layout was examined so as to determine ways in which its main assets might be highlighted, focusing firstly on the sea and navigation, and secondly on the surrounding top-rate tropical vegetation. The plan for the station was created so it would face the sea and its beach, on a symmetrical plan. The East side is designed for sea, golf and nature lovers, and the West side for sea and navigation aficionados. Hotel residences or grouped apartments were built in relation to either the golf or navigation side, according to the same principal of optimizing the sea views but also taking account of the cruise ships on the port side, or the luxuriant tropical garden on the golf side.
