Context Within the framework of the upgrading of the districts in the East of Paris, the city decided to rehabilitate the layout of Flandre Avenue, an important urban axis. The creation of this new axis brought on the demolition of many buildings as well as the reconstruction of others in order to reconstitute their alignment. |

Situated at the beginning of Flandre Street, near the rotunda by LEDOUX and the VILLETTE basin, the new building draws a taut curve of stone cladding which insures the treatment of a rupture of alignment between two existing buildings. In this way it reintegrates in the city an immense anonymous slab built in the 60's, the CRAMIF's headquarters. |
