CONTEXT

Groupe Arcane headed a collaborative project with the city of Ekaterinbourg in the Republic of Russia. This project was made possible through the support of the Department of Construction Competition, the Engineering Fund, the CDC (Caisse des Dépots et Consignation) and Actim. The following plans of action were taken into account :

-The study of the two restructuring projects in the two districts of Ekaterinbourg : Minomenlikov and Bielorechenskaïa.
-The study of the two prototype building projects, making allowance for both greater expansion of each dwelling and an increase in their number.
-The receiving and training of the Russian trainees in our Paris office.
-The study and follow up of the Franco-Russian school refurbishment project in Normandy. This project was realized on a building belonging to the S.A. HLM " La Plaine Normande ". Mixed teams of French and Russian workers used the same techniques as those used for the prototype projects of Ekaterinbourg in order to expand the dwellings.
