Initial context

before demolition

The four three and four story buildings in the cité des Raineries were built in 1976 by the process of three dimensional prefabricated modules in " SIGMA " double skinned concrete. This construction system generates an important linear facade per dwelling and contains a bad electrical heating system that has necessitated an exterior insulation.

Cladding and classic materials brings out the buildings. The modules at the extremity are affirmed by stone colored Trespa. The interior facades where the entrance halls are located have been lined with brick and raised by bands of lacquered aluminum. The attic has a 10 x 10 peripheral hand rail in lacquered aluminum.
