Initial context Le Grand Quevilly is located at the entrance to the city of Rouen's recently new suburb. This very large housing estate comprises 10 000 dwellings. |

The mayor wished to mark the entrance of this suburb by an architectural renewal. |
Based on brick columns, a pedestrian space was created around a semicircular portico. Incorporating a half organic with a half mineral space, pedestrians are invited to the heart of the district. The original facades were renewed and pyramidal roof structures were constructed on the elevator machinery. |
