The development of the Picardie and Touraine residences, is part of a larger program of the Chennivière district. The aim was to strongly mark the residensialisation of each residence. For this, the building which was composed of 75 dwellings and linked to the Picardie and Tourraine buildings was demolished to allow for the creation of a new road and public space. The limit of each residence is defined by a fence on a low wall, the entrances are heavily marked and are in direct liaison with the caretaker welcome desks. The two first levels of the buildings were reinforced by the removal of the loggias, allowing for the extension of the living rooms. Aluminum screen walls, which protect drying areas on the balconies liven up the facades of the buildings. All the gables are insulated with cladding and the base of the buildings recovered by slip tiles. Squares are redeveloped and fit in with the residences. |
