Initial context


before demolition

The district of Antala Staska is situated near to the center of the city, and composed of more than thirty buildings of five floors, built from heavy prefabricated systems. Most of the buildings were privatized recently by the sale to their residents. The latter do not have the means to take on the modernizing renovation that is necessary.

Our aims

To finance the upgrading of these buildings and respond to a strong demand for small dwellings for young couples, we have planned to construct new dwellings by elevating the buildings. The sale of construction rights of these dwellings to private real estate agencies, has to supply a great part of the necessary resources to a great part to the upgrading of the existing buildings.
